This enchanted fairy garden birthday party was a delight to plan and style for my clients. They wanted a “story book enchanted garden” and I was determined to give them just that. This was their little’s first birthday party and they wanted to make it a memorable experience for their little one and all the family flying in from out of town to celebrate this amazing milestone with the family.
This birthday party took place in a meeting room of a Holiday Inn in Pearland, TX and let me tell you, that room was D-U-L-L, very office-y and boring. We wanted to give the guests the illusion of dining in the middle of an enchanted garden of forest, so we strung tissue paper leaves all around the dining area, entrance and walls. We also added flowers, vines and faux-grass in plastic planters all around the perimeter of the venue to keep the illusion going. Little details, such as tiny fairy houses, butterflies and bees on the various flowers and plants throughout the venue really set the mood of a truly enchanted garden…the oooo’s and ahhhh’s of all the little guests was affirmation that I did my job right. The family was very appreciative and over the moon with all the decorations, even Chef Luca Manfe was wow-ed
The focal point was definitely the back wall, where we placed the dessert table, gift table and photo booth
Leafy vines filled the dull ceilings, a very time consuming DIY but totally worth it!
Of course we had to add some butterflies into the mix
The flowers and awesome rocks were another favorite DIY along with those adorable mushroom fairy houses
Smores marshmallow pops, moss cake pops and foxy cookies were a complete hit
Don’t miss those chocolate covered “logs” back there! and how cure are these monogram cookies and stump cookies?
The yummiest fairy house cake you ever did see! Amazing detail work on this cake
These awesome tiny chocolate shrooms were an amazingly unexpected dollar store find
Hand made flower crowns for the fairies and woodland animal masks for the boys
No fairy is complete without her wings and flower crown
More party favors
Fairy play time was a total hit!
